Domus.Cad 24.2 – New functions
Three years ago, Domus.Cad was completely rewritten with the most advanced software technologies that, starting from the previous version, which has constantly evolved since 1990, has created a new innovative version and has begun a path of continuous evolution that has projected it into the future, with unique and exclusive functionalities and operating modes.
The main objectives of this development are:
- Simplicity and speed of operation
- Short learning times
- Complete and effective representation of the project in all its aspects: drawing, rendering, elaborations, computations, movies etc.
- Maximum collaboration with professionals and institutions, with the support of current and future modes, with support for all formats
- Frequent and rapid updates, both to implement the most advanced techniques as they become available, and to meet user needs
- All this with a professional and direct technical support.
The new version 24.3 continues in this direction, with new features and improvements to those already present. We describe some of the new features below.
Movies
Previous versions already supported real-time animations, this version has been added the ability to create movies of various types, in various standard formats, horizontal and vertical up to 8K. Various parameters, such as frame per second.
Here is a list of possible films:
- Along a path
- Around a centre
- Variation of the shadows and insolation during a day
- Variation of the shadows and insolation during the year.
Other news
Other news concerns the texts, copy and paste properties of project elements, and more.
Many aspects have also been improved, with a number of adjustments and interventions to make the programme increasingly fast, effective and efficient.
Most improvements are carried out on the basis of a pre-established programme, while others result from a continuous relationship with users, taking into account their suggestions and indications
