Domus.Cad 15 : The new features

Domus.Cad 15 for Windows and MacOs X is downloadable from the Internet site of Interstudio. There are a lot of improvements and modifications – here are a few:

New quadrangular and triangular mesh-type elements, for faster and more accurate modeling. This brings many advantages to already-existing parts of the program, such as slabs and additional modules.
New drawing functions, like automatic rototranslation, with possibility of rescaling, for fast and accurate superimposition of different parts of the project.
New procedures for architectural parameters, like automatic generation of walls below stairs.
A new module for generating banisters, railings, grids, etc.
A new module for generating floor and roof structures
A new type of scalable hatching totally compatible with AutoCad^TM hatchings.
Excellent support when importing and exporting DXF and DWG files from Version 12 to 2008 version.
New faster rendering procedures, with both photorealistic and graphic reproduction, in perspective, for elevations, axonometrics and plans.
Automatic generation of floors, even in rooms with a complex form.
A new procedure for generating hip roofs makes for fast and automatic creation of complex roof shapes
Procedures for modifying walls and windows from inside 3D window.
For Macintosh, Domus.Cad 15 is Universal Binaries, with excellent support of the new Intel processors – and considerably faster, too!
